How Long Does Mohs EVO Last?

These are GYEON's stated durability figures. Actual coating life depends on preparation, exposure, mileage and maintenance. A second layer increases the stated durability; it does not double it.

Which Bottle Size Should You Choose?

Use GYEON's typical consumption of 15–25 ml per car as a starting point when planning your application.

• 30 ml: A practical starting size for one layer on many standard-size cars.
• 50 ml: Provides more product when planning a larger vehicle or a second layer.

How to Prepare and Apply Mohs EVO

1. Clean and Prepare the Paint

Wash thoroughly and remove bonded contamination as needed. Inspect the paint before coating: polishing is not mandatory, but it is the stage for correcting swirls, scratches and other defects you want to improve.

Remove polishing oils and residue with GYEON Q²M Prep. The surface must be clean, cool, completely dry and free of oils. GYEON's current application guidance specifies waiting 15 minutes after Prep before applying the coating.

2. Apply and Level the Coating

Use the applicator to spread the coating evenly over a manageable area. Begin wiping off as soon as it starts to sweat or form small beads on the panel. Use clean coating-removal microfibre towels and inspect carefully for streaks or remaining residue.

Work in smaller sections when warmer or more humid conditions make the product react faster. Follow the supplied manual and watch how the coating reacts to judge wipe-off timing.

3. Add an Optional Second Layer

One layer is sufficient for most cars. If applying a second layer, GYEON advises waiting approximately one hour between layers and not exceeding two hours. Follow the instructions supplied with your bottle for the application conditions.

4. Protect During Initial Curing

Keep the coating dry and protected from rain, dew and other water exposure for at least the first 12 hours. Curing continues beyond this initial period. Avoid detergent washing for the first 14 days and follow the enclosed aftercare instructions.

How to Maintain Your Ceramic Coating

After the initial curing period, wash regularly with a suitable pH-neutral car shampoo, clean wash tools and careful drying. Remove bird droppings and other contamination promptly. The coating supports easier cleaning, but regular care remains necessary.
